Weekends
It means I get to spend 2 full days with Fanfan.
When he was still tiny, weekends are mostly spent in shopping malls, either in town or in our very own heartlands (namely causeway point..hee hee)
And now, when he's a lil bigger, shopping malls don't really appeal to him anymore with the exception of Toys R'Us.
He's just facsinated with the neverending aisles and the toys there.
Anyway, I'm always thinking of new places to go with the lil one.
And I am running of ideas.
Saturday mornings are reserved for breakfast at MacDonalds (Ridout Tea Garden....i love love love this branch!) , and then swimming at 11am.
We'll be back home by 1pm for a home cooked lunch.
Fanfan will have his nap (he usually nap longer (at least 2hrs) after swimmming), while we do the housework as fast as we can...hur hur!
We are usually out of the house again by 5 plus.
Most of the time, we drive to town to do window shopping or meet up with friends (with their babies in tow) for dinner.
It's always fun to watch how Fanfan interacts other kids or other adults for that matter :).
And we'll be back home by 9-ish, and the babe will be in bed by 10.
We try to spend the Sundays either strolling in the park or relaxing by the beach.
I love the recent "Concert: Local Flavours with a Twist" held at the Botanic Gardens.
It was very entertaining, despite of the rain and all.
Sentosa is another place that I love.
The fact that they have a shallow area (no seawater!) for kids to splash around is just brilliant!
I always love going to family friendly places. :) :) :)
